Giving Back

At Stonehouse 27 we believe that a little goes a long way. Using that philosophy, we strive to make a difference in other peoples lives.

We have partnered with the Jennifer A. Kay Foundation because of Sharon's belief in empowering women with education. Jennifer and Sharon were once neighbors and through many conversations they found they had one of many things in common, namely their love for math, science and teaching. Jennifer also loved Sharon's exotic Indian recipes. Hence it is only fitting that Stonehouse 27 donates a portion of our profits through online sales of our Indian cooking sauces to support the foundation that was set up in her memory.

More about the foundation: The Jennifer A. Kay Foundation is a 501(c)(3) public charity dedicated to promoting and improving the education of young women in math and science. In its first two years, the Foundation has focused primarily on grants that support after-school clubs and activities for middle-school and high-school girls that are math- and science-related. Today, the Foundation continues to build a network of committed, passionate teachers who enjoy bringing math and science to young women. Giving in areas where our sauces retail and how you can help:
In keeping with "a little goes a long way" we also wish to donate a portion of our profits to local charities and organizations that improves the lives of individuals and families, one at a time. You can help in our efforts by bringing our sauces to your area of the country.

Additionally, we will continue to seek out other areas to donate as well; such as families in rural areas of third world countries, because a little there will truly go a long way.
